11:30 - 12:30 COR8
Join COR8, an all-female horn octet formed in 2018, comprising London-based freelancers from diverse backgrounds. Known for their rich blend of genres and new music commissions, COR8 aims to inspire young players and bring innovative performances to audiences across the UK and Ireland.
 

13:00 - 14:000 West London Tuba Quartet
The West London Tuba Quartet, featuring alumni from the Royal College of Music, showcases the tuba’s versatility across classical, jazz, and contemporary works. Renowned for their innovative arrangements and engaging performances, the quartet is dedicated to inspiring new appreciation for the tuba in the world of music.

14:30 - 15:30 The Funnybones
Formed at the Royal Academy of Music, The Funnybones trombone quartet brings a unique expression to chamber music. Winners of the 2024 Musicians’ Company Brass Ensemble Prize, they perform a diverse array of pieces, including original arrangements, showcasing the trombone’s versatility.

16:00 - 17:30 Public Masterclass with Lee Tsarmaklis
Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from Lee Tsarmaklis, Principal Tuba of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, in this public masterclass. Designed for musicians of all levels, the session offers insights into brass performance techniques and artistry.

19:00 - 21:00 Symphonic Brass
Concluding the festival, the Symphonic Brass Ensemble will deliver a powerful performance featuring iconic pieces such as “Fanfare for the Common Man” and “Pictures at an Exhibition,” promising an unforgettable evening of brass music.
